Fundraiser Raffle of Collectible Dolls

A fundraising raffle of four beautiful collectible dolls will be held during the run of Secrets Every Smart Traveler Should Know. These porcelain beauties are from The Franklin Mint, Court of Dolls and Welden Museum of Fine Collectible Dolls. Tickets can be purchased during the show or if you would like to purchase them before the show, please contact Rachael Lindley at 469-569-0761. Tickets are $1 each, $5 for 6, $10 for 12 and $20 for 25. Each doll will be raffled off and prize drawings will take place on Sunday, August 17. Winners need not be present to win. Nathefa DollNATHEFA

Welden Museum of Fine Collectibles presents Nathefa, an exquisite porcelain lady sculpted by multi-award winning artist, Kathleen Hill. She represents a Berber dancer from Morocco wearing her glorious costume consisting of a caftan with luxurious silver trim. Silver jewelry holds the drapery together at the shoulders and waist. Silver coins and beads make up her ornate headdress, bracelets and anklets. A Berber costume is antique in origin combining ancient Greek and Roman styles. Nathefa is truly a fine work of art that will add a bit of wonder to your fine collection. Nathefa is certified to be a limited edition of only 1,000 worldwide. She measures 24" tall.

 

 

Robin DollROBIN

Robin is a sweet young lady created by multi-award winning renowned artist and fashion designer, Rustie. Robin is an extraordinary beauty with her stylish blonde hair and her captivating blue eyes. Her glorious dress is made with the finest satin with an overlay of shimmering blue crystal organdy. Her bodice is adorned with a glorious appliqué filled with a multitude of sparkling sequins and outlines of hand sewn faux pearls and delicate rosebuds. Her sweet head is graced with a flock of blue and white ribbons and strands of blue and white pearls. Robin is truly a fine work of art from Welden Museum of Fine Collectibles. Certified to be a limited edition of only 2,000 worldwide. She measures 27” tall.

Court of Dolls presents Samantha, a genuine fine bisque porcelain doll designed by Jenny. Samantha is wearing a pink Victorian era dress with a straw hat and basket. This delicately sculptured porcelain is meticulously hand-painted in exquisite detail. Her costume is beautifully fashioned in fine fabrics and crafted with pride by skilled artisans. A doll to be enjoyed and treasured for generations. Certified to be a limited edition of only 2,500 worldwide She measures 29“ tall.

 

 

 

Bride DollBRIDE

This beautiful Bride comes from The Franklin Mint. Designed after Princess Diana, she is adorned in sequins and gold with a contemporary design. This lovely bride wears a white dress with floral appliqués and carries a delicate bouquet wrapped in white satin ribbons and strands of pearls. A unique sea shell-shaped headpiece is encircled by a white faux pearl-ensconced veil. A pearl and sequin choker necklace and matching bracelets add an attractive touch to her bridal ensemble.
